25th Feb 2007 - WAB Activation of SD96 YSN
A very successful activation at least on VHF. Hf condx were no go for inter-G, so the HF was used for some excellent DXing to the USA.
The members who attended were; M3LUH, G4CPA, G7WAW,M1DHA, G7COD, M3GNS and M0XLT. A multiband HF vertical was used along with a tri-band collinear and a 13ele yagi for 2M and a quarter-wave whip for 4M.
31 qsos were made on HF with 56 on VHF. We realised that this square was rare when we worked the WAB stalwart G4JZF who hadn't worked it before!
