15 th November. First CRAG Awards
Mick Dixon, 2E0HJD, from Clitheroe, became the first person to receive the infamous CRAG award. Mick jokingly suggested that he ought to get an award for working all the CRAG members. It was therefore very fitting that Mick received the first award.

On the same evening, Geoff (G4CPA) received his CRAG award for working members during his SOTA exploits.
