I live in the small town of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales [NW England] http://www.settle.org.uk/ approx 55km north west of the city of Leeds.
I have lived at my present address for nearly 10 years. Brought up in Leeds, I decided to move to the Dales in search of a quieter life and loved every minute since.
I have been licensed since November 2005, my Foundation callsign was M3LUH. I have since passed the Intermediate to gain the 2EØ callsign.
I`m also a member of the R.S.G.B, Worked all Britain and the European Phase Shift Keying Club.
My working conditions are as follows:
Radios: FT897D, FT857, FT817 and VX7R all by Yaesu.
Antennas: Tri-Band Coliner for 6m/2m/70cm mounted on a 10 foot pole on the chimney.
For HF i use a homebrew Rybakov806 vertical [10m-80m] by IV3SBE http://www.iv3sbe.webfundis.net/html/Rybakov806.htm
